Learn Orkut Keyboard Shortcuts

Besides winning integration with OpenSocial, Orkut launched shortcut keys, so you can navigate through the main functions Orkut through your keyboard.

The shortcut keys that already work on Orkut are:

• alt + shift + s --> Received
• alt + shift + t --> Home
• alt + shift + c --> Communities
• alt + shift + b --> Friends
• alt + shift + p --> Profile
• + + i am shift --> Exit

These shortcuts work only in Netscape and Mozilla Firefox, other browsers can withstand the shortcuts, but with variations in key presses. For those who use Internet Explorer, the best way to have accessibility on Orkut via keyboard is pressing the alt key, followed by the letter of the desired function (the lt + s, enable the link received, for example), that would leave the link of active role and you simply need to press "ENTER" to access the link.

If your Orkut does not have this feature enabled, one solution is to lower the extension for Firefox Greasemonkey script and then add the Keyboard Shortcuts for Orkut.

The shortcuts are the following:
Home --> Ctrl + Shift + H
Scraps --> Ctrl + Shift + S
Communities --> Ctrl + Shift + C
Friends: Ctrl --> Shift + F
Edit Profile --> Ctrl + Shift + E
