Javascript Trick to Break into any Orkut User's Locked Album, Unlock it, and view his/her album photos

Important Update: This hack is rectified by orkut. SO IT WILL NOT WORK ANYMORE. If I find a new hack I will definitely post it here!


As we all know Orkut is the largest social network in this world. People started coming in just to make new friends and to get in touch with old pals. Everything was falling in place. But few scandals and incidents related to Orkut, made orkut admins to think and do something in order to respect it's loyal user's privacy. Hence it came with a ORKUT LOCK facility, by which you can lock your scrapbook, photos, videos. That is surely a nice step taken by Orkut.




Orkut is using Microsoft's Safe & Secure Technology to protect it's member's privacy. Well, the security is very tight. Still it's very easy to break Orkut's security feature and view anyone's album. I am not talking about the black holes of Orkut, but this is true. I am disclosing these facts over here for educational purposes only. Just use a simple javascript and you can view any person's gallery in a thumbnail manner.

How to break someone's Orkut Album Lock and View His/Her Photos :

This trick works only if you are using Mozilla FireFox browser and Greasemonkey extension/addon installed on your system, and may not work on Internet explorer.

Copy and paste the below mentioned javascript code on the address bar and hit enter.
